ART INFO
***********
This is the commercial cover art for my commercial gay erotic/supernatural/horror novel called Bleak Woods. All stocks are purchased. Bleak Woods is the extended version from my previous story: Halloween Night. This new version is much longer because it tells the background story of the headless ghost and new characters.

I renamed my novel from Headless Horseman of Jamesburg to Bleak Woods (because it's too corny). And the town's name is changed to Norcross (because Jamesburg is too similar to Jamestown - the setting for my fic: Devil's Collector).

CHARACTER INFO
*****************
In 21st century, Neal Lucas suddenly found himself naked in a mysterious forest called Bleak Woods. Not knowing what happened, he desperately found a way out through the maze of misty trees. A haunting memory came to him, when he remembered facing the Headless Horseman of Norcross before losing his consciousness. Fortunately, a wood chopper named Borden found him. Unexpectedly, lust blossomed between them.

Neal learned that the headless ghost used to live as a gay man called Charles Carleton in a colonial town called Norcross, in 1744. He was caught-redhanded sodomizing his stableman and was dragged to the axe for his sin against Christianity. Enraged by the homophobic townsmen, before he died, Carleton cast a deadly curse upon the town, which also transformed his soul into a blood-thirsty ghost. To stop Carleton's ghost from wrecking havoc, the townsmen hid his severed head. Yet, their action only sealed their doomed fate even further.

Neal later faced the headless ghost who demanded him to find his lost head. The specter told Neal that he and Neal were connected but Neal didn't understand what he meant. In search for the missing head, Neal stumbled into a 18th century town and met a friendly yet mysterious gay older man: Edward Branson.

Can Neal retrieve the missing head? What dark secret lies hidden between Neal and the headless horseman of Norcross separated by hundreds of years? Who is Edward and what secret does he hold? Beware of TWIST ending! :D

I like the way the old cover looks though this one is cool too. And you're right about the title. The new one is more accurate.
